Kareena Kapoor shared UNICEF’s statement on Instagram, highlighting the shocking images of burned children and families, calling the killing of children in makeshift tents unconscionable.

Indian celebrities have expressed solidarity with Palestinians following Israel’s airstrikes on Rafah, Gaza. The phrase “All Eyes on Rafah” went viral after the strikes set a refugee camp on fire, killing over 40 civilians and injuring dozens. Bollywood actors like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and others, along with southern stars such as Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dulquer Salmaan, showed support on social media.

The International Court of Justice issued a directive for Israel to cease its military operations in Rafah. Despite the U.S. condemning the loss of life, it stated no policy changes would follow. Celebrities demanded an immediate ceasefire, calling out Israeli actions as war crimes.

The social media trend “All Eyes on Rafah” has seen widespread support, particularly from influential celebrities, in solidarity with the people of Palestine. This trend aims to highlight the global scrutiny on Israel’s actions in Rafah, Gaza, where airstrikes have resulted in civilian casualties. The hashtag and image associated with the trend have been shared by many celebrities, including Indian actors like Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Richa Chadha, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Rashmika Mandanna. Even Ritika Sajdeh, wife of Team India captain Rohit Sharma, faced backlash after sharing the post.

The Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza has been ongoing for almost eight months, with escalating violence as truce efforts fail.
